| The BioG-Micom fer-mentation system is a lab scale fermentor which is designed for multi-pur-pose fermentation. The controller system is very easy to handle and all the monitored data and con-trol parameters are trans-mitted to the personal computer with using the RS-232C serial communi-cation protocol. Features:
- # Panel control system shows the measured values of temperature, pH, DO, motor speed and the status of peristaltic pumps at the same time.

- * 4-peristaltic pumps are installed in the controller body that acid, base, anti-foam agent and media can be supplied to the fermen-tor. The various parame-ters for fermentation such as pH, DO, temperature and the rotating speed for the fermentor can be mo-nitored and controlled by the controller. Especially BioG-Micom has a special function of DO mode that the agitation speed can be governed by the DO sen-sor to control the DO va-lue for target range. The various accessories can be attached to the fermen-tation system. The various size of single vessel with hot plate or double vessel with water bath can be selected. The agitation motor is installed on the top plate and the top driv-ing mechanism can make the simple configuration and high reliability.
- All measured data and control parameters are transmitted to the personal computer by RS-232C communication protocol.
- All the accessaries such as the reagent bottles can be located in the controller body that it needs small space and ease of use.
- he DO value is compensated with temperature to measure the exact value and the value of dead-band for the peristaltic pump control can be adjusted also.
- The graphic user interfaced monitoring program gives all the status of the fermentor system in a full graphic mode.
- The motor speed can be governed by the DO value in the DO mode to control the dissolved oxygen level.
